Robot-Plane

This robot-plane piece was intended as a transformer inspired character. I choose this subject to increase my practice time on performing texture, colour and sculpting. The programs used were Maya, ZBrush and Substance Painter. Through modelization, I built the body, and I exposed some portions of the body to visualize the engine and legs. To produce the wheel, I created a rectangle platform, extruded tire treads, duplicated it and then used a wrap function to shape the tire. The texture and the colour of the plane to show aging was performed with Substance Painter. I started with a base metallic colour
arranging the lighting to create the desired reflection, then added the blue. The grey and rust created a textured worn pattern. This robot-plane piece was intended as a transformer inspired character. I chose this subject to increase
